Hervé
Chambon
Acrylics on canvas
Born in 1969 in Paris, Hervé Chambon is immersed
in art from his youngest days. Very soon acclaimed by art
critics, his work is hyper-realistic in which the finest
detail and sensitivity are confronted by the intimate colors
of the artist's studio.

- Silver medal of Paris City.
- 1st Prize for young Painters in the Côte d'Azur
International Grand Prix Exhibition.
Hervé Chambon's realism and sense of
detail come from his passion for antique-hunting; his sense
of observation, developed on the basis of revisited everyday
objects reminds us of Balzac's literary descriptions in
which a place becomes imbued with the warmth of the objects
he describes.
But even more, Hervé's paintings strive
toward bohemian perfection through his intimate studio scenes,
the door of an old hotel, or a benign shop front.
Simenon's readers, detective movie enthusiasts
are bound to find in Hervé Chambon's works, that
tiny detail from which the plot unwinds.
